Overview

The BongoCat app and The Plucky Turnip company respects your privacy. The less we know about you, the better for both of us. The BongoCat app is entirely local on your device.

Information We Collect

None unless you voluntarily provide it to us such as by sending a support email.

BongoCat does not collect, store, or transmit:

• personal information
• keystrokes
• mouse activity contents
• analytics data
• usage tracking data

The app detects when a keystroke or mouseclick occurs in order to animate the menubar icon. The app does not discern and does not log which key was pressed nor where the mouseclick occurred.

Accessibility Permissions

BongoCat requires macOS Accessibility permissions to detect keyboard and mouse activity. These permissions are used solely for app functionality and are never used to collect or transmit personal information.

Data Sharing

No data is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.
